Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area (Korean: : ) is a Korean television series based on the original Spanish series, and the second series in the Money Heist franchise. The Korean series is an original Netflix series directed by Kim Hong-sun and written by Ryu Yong-jae, starring Yoo Ji-tae, Yunjin Kim, Park Hae-soo, Jeon Jong-seo, Lee Hyun-woo, Lee Won-jong, and Park Myung-hoon.[2] It depicts a hostage scenario in a unified Korean Peninsula, including a brilliant strategist and people of various personalities and abilities.[3] The first six episodes were published on Netflix on June 24, 2022.[4] On December 9, 2022, the second installment was released.[5]
